Died: 04 Jan 1942 in Menovsha near Tigoda, Russia

Leutnant in the 299th Infantry-Regiment, Platoon & Company Leader(06 Sep 1917-01 Oct 1919)
Transferred to the 102nd Reichswehr-Infantry-Regiment(01 Oct 1919-01 Oct 1920)
Transferred to the 4th Infantry-Regiment (01 Oct 1920-01 Apr 1928)
Company-Leader in the 4th Infantry-Regiment (01 Apr 1928-01 Jan 1934)
Tactics Instructor at the War School Munich (01 Jan 1934-10 Nov 1938)
Commander of II. Battalion of the 24th Infantry-Regiment (10 Nov 1938-06 Feb 1940)
Commander of the 505th Infantry-Regiment (06 Feb 1940-04 Jan 1942)
Killed in action on the Russian Front about 3km east of Menovscha (04 Jan 1942)
Finally laid to rest at the War Cemetary in Sologubowka-St.Petersburg: Block 2 Row 82 Grave No. 8565
Died in Jan 1942 near the Tigoda river at the Eastern Front as Commander of the infantry regiment 505, part of the 291st infantry division. Official sources say he was killed by a mortar shell, however other information indicates that he was shot by a sniper.
