Machine woven rayon, embroidered ‘GES. GECH’. The DRK national eagle sleeve shield as introduced in August 1935 for wear by voluntary DRK personnel on the upper right sleeve of the service tunic and greatcoat. The uniform regulations of January 1938 introduced a different national eagle and assignment location sleeve triangle for salaried DRK personnel.
