Lot 330:
Horizontal hook, stamped brass with swastika, unmarked , better than good condition.Detailed and pronounced, copper-bronze-toned, day-badge (ie. ‘tinnie’ or: ‘Veranstaltungsabzeichen’) as was issued to commemorate the: ‘Hildesheimer Kulturwoche – 17.-24. September 1933’This is an attractive metal- (ie. tin-) based- and copper-bronze-toned day-badge (ie. ‘tinnie’ or: ‘Veranstaltungsabzeichen’) being a non-maker-marked example as was issued to commemorate the: ‘Hildesheimer Kulturwoche – 17.-24. September 1933’ held in the town of Hildesheim and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit issued and/or worn-), condition. The detailed badge – which is executed in copper-bronze-coloured- and (I deem) tin-based metal – shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (it is minimally stained ie. dirty. The neat circular-shaped piece (having an approximate diameter of: 4,4 cms. – depicts an armoured knight, unidentified logo (that reads: ‘F.P.K.K.’ or alike) and tiny swastika-sign surrounded by the text: ‘Hildesheimer Kulturwoche – 17.-24. September 1933’. It comes naturally mounted on its (functional) pin-/catch set-up.
