Warmest greetings, and all my best to you. I am healthy and looking forward to seeing you again. On the fth May I got a letter from you, and on the 12* May a small parcel, everything was fine, nothing had spoilt – thanks so much for everything. You ask me if I need anything – I definitely want to write to vou. You also tell me that the Benaker children are probably sharing a room with our son. Mika has also received some clothes but the new shoes which you sent to him, as it said on the packet, didn’t arrive. I’m sure you are really worried but try not to be. They will find him some new ones, they are good people. Just be glad that nothing bad has happened to him and that he’s healthy. I’m sure you’re really scared without him and without me, but you just have to keep your chin up and let me know how the naming day with Ernst went and did you have a lot of work to do? But the main thing is that you’re in good health and that you’re bearing up, it’s not easy for you. Everything that you send is wonderful, I know you send me the best you can. Thank you for the warm wishes from those we know, do send them back. Warmest wishes to our son and I wish you the best of health.
