Authentic Waffen SS Tropical Pith Helmet. The helmet itself is evidently Italian made (see cork spacers on the interior.) Excellent example is in very good condition, with all components intact. The original khaki cloth covering is intact and retains its original color well. The SS and National Flag shields are zinc. These shields are guaranteed to be original to the helmet. An exceedingly rare helmet!
