Allied War Propaganda About Allied Occupation o Italy entitled "Capitulation Means Annihilation". There’s an excerpt of a German press headline that says "The Duce Speaks to the Italians: Capitulation Means Annihilation". But the allied invasion of Italy in Sicily was totally the opposite according to this leaflet: joy, relief, bread, happiness, freedom, etc. All are good news for the Italian population. Some pictures of the moments of American soldiers with people in Sicily depict it.
