This ‘Ehrenschleife’ – Ribbon of Honor is from a 1936 German Gymnastics (Turnerschaft) event. This gorgeous ribbon measures just over 27 inches long and 5.5 inches wide. The pole at the top is original and the entire piece is in excellent condition. Truly as close to mint as you could hope to find. The plate on the front is a metal Turnerschaft symbol with a swastika at the center, the reverse says: You were at the last gymnastics day of district 9 Westphalia-Lippe of the German Gymnastics Association Bielefeld in 1936 Du warst auf dem letzten Turntag des Gaues 9 Westfalen-Lippe der Deutchen Turnerschaft Bielefeld 1936
