Franz Xaver Schwarz Dinner Spoon Franx Xaver Schwarz (1875 to 1947). High ranking German Nazi Party official who served as Reichsschatzmeister (National Treasurer) of the Party throughout most of its existence. He was also one of the highest ranking members of the Schutzstaffel (SS). Schwarz died in an Allied internment camp near Regensburg on 2 December 1947, due to recurring gastric troubles. Dinner spoon from the personal table service of Franz Xaver Schwarz. “XS” monogram on the front, maker markings “ETSCHENBERG” and “90” on the rear.
