During the Second World War, the prison in Brzeg was a place where many hundreds of political prisoners were held by the German Nazis.In January 1945, German guards evacuated the prison. 500 to 600 prisoners were driven to the prison in Swidnica. Most of them were murdered. We ship this article from our office in Europe
