The inmates of the Jawiszowice camp worked in the "Brzeszcze" coal mine. It was one of the largest sub-camps of Auschwitz, where about 2,500 inmates worked.The letters sent from the Jawiszowice is unique and very rare.In 1945, Inmate Stanisław Zydor a tailor by profession, was evacuated in 1945 to KL Buchenwald.He survived the war.
