March 2022 Auction Day 1
Lot 105:
A Set of Nazi Front Fighter League.
Mitgliedsabzeichen des N.S.D.F.B.St. Pin for National Socialist German Frontfighter Association Stahlhelm. The badge shown here was introduced in March 1934 after the National Socialists seized power and the clubs and associations, and thus also the Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsoldaten, were brought into line. The new designation was then National-Socialist-German-Frontfighters-Bund-Stahl helm (N.S.D.F.B.St.). This successor organization was also dissolved on November 7, 1935.After the leadership of the Stahlhelm had already declared in 1933 that the Stahlhelm and its sub-organizations were subordinate to the leader Adolf Hitler, the reorganization/synchronization began. From July, members under the age of 35 were subordinated to the SA as “Wehrstahlhelm”. Members aged 36 to 45 became "SA Reserve 1" and members over 45 became "SA Reserve 2". In 1934 the parts were then completely integrated or taken over by the SA. The rest of the members then formed the N.S.D.F.B.St. from 1934. Due to the short duration of its existence and the small number of members who were not accepted into the SA, the badge is quite rare.
