Third Reich family tree book in excellent condition. Since the Nuremberg racial laws came in effect in 1935 it was mandatory for officers in the German armed forces, civil servants, teachers and anyone with a leading position to bring evidence that he or she was of pure Aryan descent. To accomplish this, books like this one were published and the owner then had to prove that his/her ancestors were not Jewish.
