Official pocket book published by the Wehrmacht in 1938 to be used only by German troops in the field. "Taschenbuch Polnisches Heer. Für den Gebrauch der Truppe im Felde" (Pocket Book Polish Army. For the Use of the Troops in the Field). Very interesting not only because it was a book created by German Army to be used in the forthcoming war in 1939, but also because it summarizes all the ranks, uniforms, organisation, etc. of the Polish army before the WW2. The book has some sheets in colour also. Other interesting aspect of the booklet is the fact that there are ink stamps of th Wehrmacht and also a rare ink stamp of the US Army of the Pentagon! So it’s one of the books that were seized by Americans during WW2 probably from German headquarters library. Published in 1938.*********This article is sent from our office in Europe**********
