Antiqu 19thC Burmese Silver Thabeik Bowl, Myanmar
19th Century Burmese (Myanmar) silver thabeik repousse’ bowl, very well made and , repousse’ decorated in high relief with six different scenes from the Burmese mythology, representing various figures.
The base engraved with a peacock mark, there are number of different variations of the peacock signature, all of whom are are indirectly claiming past royal patronage by using this mark.

Material: silver (acid tested shows a high 900+)
Height: 5.6 cm
Diameter at the top: 8 cm
Diameter at the bottom: 5 cm
Weight: 114 g
Notes: not cleaned, patina present.
