We offer in this auction a very rare and genuine well worn condition inmate used concentration camp jacket. Jacket is fully original but we must make it clear that THE STAR WAS ATTACHED AFTER THE WAR! That’s the only part of the jacket that is not period! It underwent the black light test and it was positive, so it contains traces of modern thread. Maybe it was attached by the prisoner for ex-prisoners’ meetings. Star identifies the owner as a Jewish political prisoner. But the most important part of the jacket is obviously the item of garment itself, which is 100% period one. A jacket with a lot of use in the camp, that is unknown to us. It is made using the legit striped white and blue fabric, thick version since it’s the winter garment. It is a rare configuration and pattern since the collar isn’t the typical one from camps like Auschwitz or Dachau, and also the belt on the waist isn’t commonly seen in other jackets, which makes this one even more rare! The piece itself is absolutely a must for any museum or KZ based collection. Even buying an original period prisoner id number cloth tag and Winkel or triangle and stitching to the breast, the item would increase its value a lot!*******This article is sent from our office in USA**********
