The wood base measures just under 20 inches wide and the entire piece is about 7.5 inches high.The wood says ‘O Deutschland hoch in Ehren’ meaning ‘O Germany in Honor’The eagle is cast iron/blackened metal.The family wrote the name of the person that created it and the year it was made on the reverse.
