Rare letter with envelope sent by political department of the KL Mauthausen Kommandantur answering to a Polish woman from Warsaw who asked by letter for information about his missing husband who probably was imprisoned by Nazis. The set includes a formal answer from the camp telling this woman that this man was never to this camp and unknown for them. The original letter by this woman is also enclosed. All dated in 1940. Envelope has nice ink stamps of the political department of KL Mauthausen as well as from Kommandantur.****IMPORTANT! We ship this article from our office in Europe***
