German military propaganda leaflet from World War II. Addressed to Russian soldiers on the Eastern Front. Contents: Peace! Bread! Work! Officers and soldiers! Time to think about peace! The Red Army is broken. The German army has already liberated the peoples of the Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian and Belarusian republics. Almost all of Ukraine was liberated. The people joyfully welcome the liberators! The German army fights exclusively against the communists and the NKVD! The program of the German authorities: 1. each peasant will receive his own piece of land, 2. the wages of the workers will be sufficient to meet the needs of their families, 3. Private trade will be restored, craftsmen will be able to pursue their craft, 4. The local government will take care of the needs of the population, 5.
