Original Early NSDAP Party Pre-Third Reich Nun Erst Recht Pin Marked Ges.GeschOriginal Early NSDAP Party Pre-Third Reich Nun Erst Recht Pin Marked Ges.Gesch- “After the disastrous 1923 Putsch on the 9th November the NSDAP was outlawed and any party insignia was banned. As such, the NSDAP created a differing party badge with the slogan ‘NUN ERST RECHT’ (Now More Than Ever). The NSDAP found a loophole in the new laws. The Swastika itself wasn’t forbidden, and as long as the badge didn’t have the name of the Party, it could be carried publicly.It is marked Ges Gesch. to the back and on the pin fasteners plate. The RZM logo didn’t come into exitance until 1934. The badge has "Nun Erst Recht" (Now More Than Ever) with a wreath at the bottom. On the back there is a small blob of red enamel from the manufacturing process, which this wouldn’t have been passed during the RZM screening. The enamel work is still excellent condition with no chips and shows honest age. The pin fastener is complete and works. The badge measures to about 18mm so a fair bit smaller than a normal sized Nazi Party badge.
