Lot 561:
Extreme rarity. Streamer tassel for a German standarte. It’s large, heavy, and the quality and detail is really incredible. The date on one of the metal plates is 16 March 1935, which is when the Wehrmacht was founded. The other plate is dated exactly one year later, 16 March 1936 which we think represents the day the standarte was honored. Total length is 80 inches.
