MEDALS MADE OF PORCELAIN, CERAMIC, STONEWARE & MAJOLICA – COMMERCE, INDUSTRY & TRADE:Interesting porcelain medal from 1925. Interesting inscription variant, the top star point above the "MM" shows between "Ãœ" & "H" from "FRÃœHJAHRSMESSE". The piece was issued at the Leipzig Spring & Autumn Fair in 1925. The front of the medal shows the fair logo "MM" as well as 1925 and the inscription "LEIPZIGER FRÃœHJAHRSMESSE". The reverse shows the inscription "LEIPZIGER HERBSTMESSE 1925". Manufacturer is the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory. The piece was made of brown Böttger stoneware.The inscription on the obverse side is the same as in Scheuch 1755a – but the diameter there is probably larger. The piece offered here also does not look like a plaster mold!Diameter about 36-36.5 mm, slightly out of round.Weight about 8.5 gramsMaterial stoneware, brown.Condition: very fine
