Really nice Wanderer-Werke Continental Typewriter with the case.Wanderer-Werke was a major German manufacturer of bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles, tools and office machinery that was founded in 1885 in Chemnitz (Germany). The founders of this factory Winklhofer and Jaenicke named the Wanderer from the translation of the word Rover, which was the brand that the English John Kemp Starley had given his bikes. The CONTINENTAL typewriters, which were manufactured until the Second World War by Wanderer-Werke, were the most prestigious and sold both in Germany and abroad.
