Besamim – a Jewish liturgical vessel used to store fragrant herbs, especially cloves, ginger, nutmeg, allspice with myrtle or rose petals.It is used during the hawdala – the closing prayer of the Sabbath. Besamim were built in various shapes, but the most common were turreted balsamines, with a shape reminiscent of a fortress – the Fortress, which is a biblical symbol of God. Jewish liturgical container for spices. This balm is in the shape of a tower 33.5 cm high. Made of silver before 1914. This is evidenced by the samples of silver and the signature of a Jewish manufacturer from Poland – MH – Moszek Charlap. One ring is missing. Besides, no damage.Shipping from our office in Europe
