Issued for the 700-year celebration of Berlin in 1937, this mint condition porcelain plaque measures just about 4.5 inches by 2.5 inches. On the front are the city gates, ‘1237 1937’ and the Berlin Bear. The reverse ‘als dank und zur erinnerung die reichshauptstadt 1937’ ‘as a thank you and as a reminder, the capital of the Reich in 1937’.The case on this is in good condition as well and measures about 6 inches by 3.5 inches.
