Lot 1198:
Interesting set of bring back items from a US photographer that was with the Normandy invasion. Included on brittle paper sheets are documents pertaining to his photographs that he took, some handwritten notes, insignia including and armband which was cut from a uniform, an NSDAP party badge, a Kriegsmarine eagle, two chevrons, and a very cool page with a note talking about a Nazi officer whose apartment he’s been staying in for 2 months. An original photo from the battle of Cherbourg also included.
