WW1 & Holocaust - Shoah- German persecution
Lot 624:
Excellent Example of a Nazi Concentration Camp Inmate Used Condition Striped Jacket. This jacket was found in Poland years ago. It was tailored using the legit striped fabric with grayish and blue colours. It comes with the Kennzeichen or Identification number on a patch stitched to the breast with the number "14884" but the cloud triangle or Winkel is missing. There’s also another label on the collar side with the number V169, maybe some production control number. Jacket shows use because it has some damaged parts and patches to cover holes produced likely during hard works that this inmate was forced to to within some "Kommando" or inside the main camp. All buttons present. To be hones this is a museum example, in very good condition and it shows the wear that such a jacket with its obscure background must have due to the labour poor inmates had to carry out. Pieces like this are extremely difficult to find. Shipping from our office in Europe.
