Rudolf Hess Signed Book â€Å“Mit Hitler im Westen” . Hess gifted this to a friend with the printed inscription of â€Å“As a permanent reminder of the year in which Adolf Hitler won the greatest victory in world history. Christmas 1940, Rudolf Hess.”. Signed in fountain pen. The book was published in 1940 by Zeitgeschichte Verlag in Berlin. The professional photographs were taken by Heinrich Hoffmann, the official photographer of the NSDAP. The book is about the Blitzkrieg against France and the defeat of the British Expeditionary Forces at Dunkirk.
