A book for reading aloud, retelling and self-reading for smaller and older children by Johanna Haarer from 1939 is a National Socialist reading book . It is considered a “particularly drastic example of anti-Semitic propaganda ”. It ispresented as a fairy tale and was used during education under National Socialism to indoctrinate children with enemy images at an early age.
