Third Reich border marker plaque. These plaques were mounted on painted wooden posts and located on the borders of Nazi Germany and its surrounding neighbors. This style of border plaque has been used in European countries for some time and modern equivalents exist today. The Third Reich version is made of Aluminum and has an externally raised national eagle with a swastika. The plaque is attached by four mounting points to the vertical wooden post and is a rare collectors item with few examples remaining. 6.75 inches x 7.5 inches.
