Bernard Rust (1883 to 1945). Minister of Science, Education and National Culture (Reichserziehungsminister) in Nazi Germany. Reportedly committed suicide on 8 May 1945, when Germany surrendered to Allied forces. Luncheon spoon from Bernhard Rust’s German Higher Education table service. Marked “Dh” below the national eagle on the front. “Dh” is for “Deutsche-Hochschule”, or German Higher Education, his official state pattern. Marked “BR. HENNEBERG BM” with scales and “90” on the reverse. Approx. 18cm long. All items for this auction will be shipping from Europe. Shipping cost $20 it doesn’t matter how many items you win.
