Lot 261:
US 82nd Airborne Division A-Class Tunic
In a very good condition an US WW2 82nd Airborne Division A-Class Tunic.Corps Technician 4th Grade.
The tunic comes in a very good mannequin size of 39R.
Attached to the tunic is the 82nd airborne division shoulderpatch.
To each upper collar point are brass collar dogs that represent "U.S." and Engineering.
Other insignia:
– U.S. Qualified Army Parachitist Badge
– U.S. Three Place Ribbon Bar (one is missing)
– Above the right breast pocket is a "ruptured duck" for Honourable discharge
– Commendation Bar – Presidential Unit Citation
– Rank insignia for Technician 4th Grade and 4 overseas service bars that represents 2 years as well as a 3 year enlistment stripe
– A Belgian Fourragere is attached through the right shoulder strap and around the arm
– An orange lanyard extends around the left shoulder to attached to the button on the corresponding breast pocket
A handwritten name is also present to the lining.
