This very rare metal wall shield hung on the wall at the Flugzeugführerschule 21 in Magdeburg-Ost during the World War II.The shield contains the Fallschirmjäger (Paratrooper) badge and their inscription: Rot Scheint die Sonne (Red Shines the Sun)The metal shield is beautifully painted and has a nice patina and the swastika is made of bronze.At the back of the wall shield there is a hook with an eye so that it can be hung on the wall.Dimensions: 40 x 29 cm – 15.74 x 11.41 in.The Luftwaffe ink marking can be found on the reverse of the shield.A very unique object for the Fallschirmjäger collector!
